What Is Life Coaching?
Life coaching is not counseling
In counseling, people seek help for their mental health concerns and its related issues in different areas of life. The process normally includes assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan which are provided by a trained professional psychotherapist.
Coaching in general helps people identify their challenges, develop greater awareness in themselves, work in partnership with people to obtain their goals, and implement effective tools to better manage their lives. Different types of coaching are designed not only to get you back on track when you’ve lost your way, but to help you create a more rewarding, purpose-driven life.
Finding life potential
Through providing objective, unbiased feedback a coach can help people figure out for themself what is best, to guide them towards what they would really like to be doing, and what gives them the most satisfaction (Often people find that it is not what they are currently doing at all).
Doing what you really want
People sometimes spend their entire lives doing what they are told that they should do, what their parents expect of them, or what they think that society expects of them. Some of them have been caught up in this cycle for so long that they are not even sure what they want.
Coaching can help you breakthrough limitations, and set new goals, from strategic thinking to execution, from mindset to keep you accountable to ensure you get the results you desire in any area of your life.
Prioritizing and finding balance in your busy life
Some people probably are already successful in their careers, many of whose upper level positions in the corporate world have left them feeling isolated. They want someone who is both willing to listen and provide honest, sometimes blunt feedback.
How Do I know If Coaching is Right For Me?
Coaching requires a willingness to explore ideas, beliefs, and assumptions. No matter how good you are at asking questions, there must be a willingness to engage in coaching for you to be effective and welcome the chance to see what you are not seeing on your own.
Need better time management
Procrastinators everywhere have wondered, “Do I need a life coach?” at one time or another. You know that putting off until tomorrow what you need to do today isn’t going to get you anywhere, but sometimes you need help staying on task. A coach can help you break through these counterproductive patterns.
Facing a major transition
If you’re about to change jobs, move to a new city or get out of a relationship, you don’t want to burn out your family and friends with discussions about your upcoming life changes, and you want to make your transition as easy as you can. You also want to begin new chapters in your life on your own terms, but if you don’t know what those are, you’ll need a life coach.
Want to move forward but feeling stuck
You want to make big changes in your life, but are stuck and need help breaking through blocks like fear, confusion, and inertia.
Tried but don't know what has been missing
You are trying to make a major decision and need help sorting information and identifying and weighing your options.
You want to go beyond talking and start doing—taking action every week to actually create sustainable changes in your life.
Need for accountable partner
You want a partner who can help you feel less alone as you work through a challenge or transition, support and champion you and share the journey.
You want someone to help you keep track of all the different components of your life and goals; to help you break down overwhelming projects or tasks into small, manageable steps.
My Approach
Mental health is a vital component for a person’s wellbeing and living a fulfilled life. Coaching in mental health is different from counseling. A mental health coach will help you to look into your life in a holistic way, and assess every aspect of your life that will eventually guide you toward your future goals.
In coaching sessions, people who are from different stages of life will explore and discover their potential including their given gifts and skills, awaken to the successful possibilities in their life, learn to navigate through life transitions and embrace the realities, focus on their values and purposes, cultivate new habits, etc.
A coach can assist if you are stuck in the planning process. Also assist as you clarify your vision and create a step-by-step action plan for your future.

How It Works
Initial Consultation
We offer an initial 1-on-1 consultation to give prospective you an opportunity to learn more about the coach’s services and what coaching can do for you. This meeting is an opportunity for the coach and you to decide if its a good fit for both and both parties agree to proceed.
Choose a Coaching Plan
We’ve all heard that when you fail to plan, you plan to fail. A life coach can help you give form and structure to your desires, and help you break down generic, unformed ideas into concrete plans. Plans are further subdivided into steps. After all, climbing one step at a time is far more practical than leaping up an entire staircase.
Set Your Goals
You need more than a goal to achieve your dreams. A coach is an expert who can help you clarify your goals. Through comprehensive goal-setting and examining your current operations, the coach will help you hone in on what you truly want, and cut down on efforts that aren’t helping your objective.
